Nathan Emmerich, Founder of SW-One Communications, is a strategic communications expert with more than 10 years’ experience advising CEOs, politicians and senior leaders to effectively integrate communication functions within their organisations. Nathan is the personal advisor to Figen Murray OBE, playing a crucial role in amplifying communications related to Manchester Arena Inquiry, counter terrorism related matters, and the landmark legislation known as Martyn’s Law. As an integral member of the Martyn’s Law campaign team, alongside Figen Murray, Nick Aldworth, and Brendan Cox, Nathan spearheaded the 200 mile walk from Manchester to London in May 2024. This campaign increased sector and media support for Martyn’s Law and resulted in its inclusion in the Labour Party manifesto, culminating in the Royal Assent on Thursday 3 April 2025. Nathan honed his expertise through notable roles with the UK Home Office, Counter Terrorism Policing, Survivors Against Terror, and working for Lucy Powell MP, now Leader of the House of Commons.
