NPSA announce new Insider Risk Scenarios
People are an organisation’s biggest asset. However, in some cases they can also pose an insider risk. Effective communication is critical in helping leaders be insider risk-ready. Following a year of testing with more than 125 organisations across the public and private sector, NPSA (National Protective Security Authority) has added more collaborative exercise modules to its Insider Risk hub.
The latest Insider Risk Simulation exercises cover two types of insider event:
-
- Unauthorised disclosure
- Sabotage
These exercises have been proven to enable a facilitator to run a session. Materials include guidance, facilitator notes, background briefings and a step-by-step look at an unfolding crisis event.
